Hard to believe March is here already. Seems like such a short time ago we were having frost delays on the golf course and the holidays were in full swing. But looking back at all the activities our Art Club has had, we certainly filled up these last few months. Having the ability to continue learning is such a great part of our club. We always learn from each other and having instructors come to us is a real bonus. We also have done some outside trips to various art shows and even an outing to Casa Grande to the annual Gourd Festival gave inspiration to all who participated. We also have such fun showcasing our works in the beautiful case in the main lobby.

Hope you all got to see our hat challenge pictures in February. These challenges bring out such creativity to a single subject and is amazing to see how many different ways it is interpreted. What will be the theme next year? So as the warm temperatures return to the valley, our artists will be busy creating new works and enjoying the great friendships club members develop with each other. Our numbers continue to grow and we always welcome anyone who would like to be a part of this group. We are in the Hopi Room on Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m.-noon, so stop in and take a look at what we are doing.
