These luncheons are for all Kare Bears, as well as anyone who is interested in getting to know what and who the Kare Bears are; bring a friend! At our June luncheon Layne Varney introduced a community program to encourage awareness and follow up on those who live around us. It is called Neighbors Calling Neighbors! Do you have neighbors who live alone? Do you live alone? If you answered yes to either question, please join us in our endeavors by participating in Neighbors Calling Neighbors! A conducive means of checking on people who live alone. Simple as a phone call or ringing the doorbell. Flyers regarding this program are located in the kiosk located across from the Library. For more information call Juanita at 248-231-4274 or Bunny at 480-883-0566.
