The SunBird Pickleball Club continues to play throughout the summer—early in the morning or in the evening under the lights. Club times are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 7 to 10 a.m. (or whenever it gets too hot) and Saturday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m. We encourage everyone to come out and join the fun! There is a “non-club” group that plays on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. as well, open to any SunBird resident (and guest) who would like to play.
Summer is a great time to come out and learn the game if you haven’t played before but think it might be fun (it’s a blast). There’s a sign–up sheet for “newcomer orientation” in the glass case near the post office. Just look up for the pickleballs and paddle near the water cooler.
Remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, during this hot weather! And we’ll see you on the courts! Game on!
