January Art Club notice

Sharon Eade

December is always a busy month filled with music, parties, good eats, good friends and family and a very long to do list! Our Art Club was no exception. We began the month with members driving to Carefree for the Hidden in the Hills Art Tour where we not only were able to see wonderful art but were also able to meet many of the talented artists who opened their homes and/or studios and shared their knowledge and skills with us. This year’s Christmas party was held at the home of Sharon and Terry Eade and with everyone sharing their delicious food we literally ate, drank and were merry! Also, this year our members placed some of their hand painted Christmas items in the case by the library for all to enjoy. Now with the arrival of January comes a new year and the excitement of beginning new art projects as well as having the opportunity to take classes taught to us by artists who have made a name for themselves in the Valley. We also look forward to welcoming new members and anyone who would like to join us is urged to come see what we are doing. We meet in the Hopi Room on Thursday mornings and are always willing to share our love of art. Happy New Year to you all!
