The June meeting of the Sun Lakes Democratic Club will be on Monday, June 12, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club located at 25601 E. Sun Lakes Blvd N. Bethany Lambrecht from the Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) will be our speaker. Ms Lambrecht will address the current state of religion and free speech in our country.
The Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) is a broad based, non-partisan organization of dues-paying member congregations, schools, unions and non-profits committed to building relational power through organizing people for sustainable social and economic improvement.
The Sun Lakes Democratic Club collects non-perishable food items for Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Please bring your contributions to the drop-off area in the west parking lot from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The club collected 179 pounds of food in March, along with cash donations of $155.00. We appreciate all you do.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Sun Lakes Democratic Club meeting, held the second Monday of the month. Light refreshments are served.
