Jean Anderson

Last year was the first year of the beginners’ watercolor class taught by me, Jean Anderson, and it was so much fun. In my working life I’d developed a highly technical training programs and I wanted to use what I’d learned doing that to develop a beginning watercolor class. A wonderful group of hardy souls showed up and let me practice on them.

I’d like to thank everyone in the class for being such a delight and let you know that I could not have been happier with my first SunBird beginners’ watercolor class. I was so impressed with how quickly they learned and their fearless use of color.

We want to do it again this year and we’d like to invite new folks to join us.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to watercolor, but been afraid, this is the class for you.

Watercolor isn’t difficult, but you need to know the basics or you will be extremely frustrated.

You don’t have to know how to draw to paint in this class. We work around that. It’s my goal to give you a warm environment to start your adventure working in this fun and exciting medium. We laugh and play as we learn. When you are having fun, learning is a lot easier. Along the way we also get to make new friends.

Please join us; sessions are free again this year. Call Jean Anderson at 503-649-9097 for questions or to reserve your space.
