Throughout the ages, we humans have had a need to mark the time and place where people make the final stop on their journey from this world to the next. Sometimes it is a simple cross on rock-covered earth, while others are elaborate tombstones which tell something of the lives of their residents.

Tuesday, April 11, at 1:00 p.m. – The Art of Floral Design

Floral design is the art of using plant materials and flowers to create a pleasing balance. This demonstration will share the basics and some secrets of floral design. The arrangements created during the program will be raffled off at the end! Limited to 30 attendees, age 18 and up.

Monday, April 17, at 1:00 p.m. – Pinterest Party!

Join us for our monthly adult craft club from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on the third Monday of every month. Come chat, craft and get creative! Registration limited to 15 attendees.

Wednesday, April 19, at 1:00 p.m. – Native American Flute and Hoop Dancing*

Join us for an amazing performance of Native American Hoop Dancing and Fancy Dance, accompanied by the beautiful music of the flute.

Monday, April 24, at 1:00 p.m. – It’s a Mystery to Me – Storytime for Grownups

Do you love to know “whodunit”?? Join us for this grownup storytime, featuring a mystery short story. Feel free to bring a lunch or snack and enjoy being read to!

Wednesday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. – History of Airbase Arizona; Falcon Field*

Established in 1941, Falcon Field was used as a training facility for British Royal Air Force and American Pilots. Retired USAF Colonel James Evans presents its fascinating history as well as discussing some of the aircraft on display at the onsite museum.

Thursday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. – Crafty Kids’ Club; Springtime Wreath

Join us for our craft club for kids from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. Crafts are age appropriate for ages 3-6, but all ages are welcomed. Let’s tap into our right-brain and get the creativity flowing! Registration required, limited to 15 attendees.
